Business Hours

We are very lenient with drop off and pick-up times to accommodate our client’s schedules, but we ask you to adhere to the pick-up and drop-off times of your choosing, so we can continue to accommodate that flexibility. DAYCARE: DROP OFF & PICK-UP Schedule
6 days per week: Wednesday through Monday – 8:30am-5:30pm
CLOSED TUESDAY TO PUBLIC – No Pick Up or Drop Off
Notice: If you arrive after the last pick up time of 5:30pm, the office will be closed and you will incur a one day boarding charge.

Office Hours and Appointments
We are happy to give you a tour of our facility prior to daycare or boarding, however, we DO require an appointment. We are closed to the public on major holidays (New Years Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day). Please note, these holidays are subject to additional fees.

General Policies

For every dog’s safety, ALL dogs entering and exiting Wagbey must be on a leash or in a carrier. We are happy to store those items in a designated cubby for your pet until pick up.

We will accept a favorite toy and/or blanket to help your pup adjust to their kennel (please limit these items, as these items can get misplaced and/or lost). While we will make every effort to return all items brought into the kennel, we will not take responsibility for any personal items that become dirty, lost or damaged while your dog stays with us.

Wagbey Pet Retreat reserves the right to refuse admittance to any dog guest for any reason at any time, such as displaying signs of untreated or potentially contagious conditions, demonstrating aggressive behavior, or who fails standard health and temperament policies.

Cancellation:
No charge if the reservation is canceled 3 days (72 hours) in advance. If the cancellation is done in less than 72 hrs. prior to boarding/daycare, there will be a one night boarding charge. (During holidays we require cancellations to be made at least one week prior (7 days to boarding). Please no exceptions.

Payment:
Payment is required IN FULL at the time of discharge for all services rendered. We require a one night deposit for boarding and/or a one day charge for daycare. If you need to change or cancel your reservation, you must notify us 72 hrs. in advance for non-holiday periods and 7 days in advance for holiday periods. We ask that reservations are made as soon as possible, as space is limited.

Wagbey Pet Retreat reserves the right to evaluate mixed breeds on a case-by-case basis. The safety and comfort of every dog entering Wagbey is our top priority and we reserve the right to restrict admittance into Wagbey at any time.

Required Vaccinations

In order to protect your pet’s health, Wagbey requires that all pets boarding also have the following vaccinations:

• Vaccination against Distemper/ParvoVirus given within the last 3 years, or following the protocol designated by your vet.

• Vaccination against Rabies, as the law requires, depending on the age of the dog.

• Vaccination against Bordetella (Canine Cough) given in the last 12 months, following the protocol designated by your vet.

• Please make sure to speak to your Vet about vaccinations for Canine Influenza.

Please take note, it takes five (5) days for shots to be effective, so all shots must be current at least 5 days before admittance or for booster shots, 48 hours.

You must provide documentation before your pet stays with us. Thank you for your cooperation to ensure all pets are healthy and safe. We appreciate your business and look forward to caring for your pup!
